iShares invited select clients to a pre-show opening of the Broadway play, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. A reception was held at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York prior to the show. I designed a fun and unique custom invitation for this event. The cover of the invitation could be torn off and worn as a Spider-man mask. Participants where encouraged to wear the mask to the event and have their photo taken before the show. This was hugely popular with the adults and children alike attending the event. As a part of the event visual identity I also created a custom type treatment, ticket holder, badge, step-and-repeat backdrop and environmental graphics.
BlackRock on Campus is an annual 2-day event that brings senior executives together. BlackRock staff and faculty from the Harvard Business School join together to help executive leaders strengthen their mentorship skills. The goal of the event is to bring new thinking and practices back to each participants organization. This year's event took place on the Harvard campus. The event included lectures by BlackRock thought leaders and academic leaders from the Harvard Business School.
I designed a custom event logo, environmental signage, stage and presentation designs, email invitation, welcome packet and digital app assets.
Participants stayed at the Hotel Le Meridien in Cambridge and were shuttled between the hotel and the Harvard campus.
THE ISHARES EXPERIENCE
The iShares Experience was an ongoing event series designed to give clients an inside look at the Shares products and methodology. The event series took place each quarter in the BlackRock offices as well as a variety of outside venues across the US and Canada. I created versatile visual identity that could be used in a variety of settings and applied across various mediums.
A bold and colorful identity to promotes a sense of excitement and optimism around the event. The green arrow acts as both a branding element, giving a sense of forward movement and as a directional element.
The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is an annual BlackRock-hosted leadership event designed to inspire innovation and create a culture of future thinking leaders amongst BlackRock’s senior managers. The 2017 event took place in Scottsdale, Arizona. BlackRock leaders were asked to reimagine the business landscape a changing and increasingly more difficult business environment. The desert imagery was chosen as a metaphor for the business climate. Although the environment can appear harsh participants were asked see the possibility for growth and prosperity and imagine new opportunities ahead.
